I watch too much tv.
I'm not feeling well today and haven't been able to sleep either. Great. So I spent my day just feeling cruddy, watching tv, finishing the internet and catching up on some blogs. I decided that it might be fun to have a blog of my own. I've been thinking about it for a while but now I'm completely inspired! Game on!

I can't think of a single thing to write about. Is this common for bloggers? Will I have this problem always? Should I re-think my adventures in blogging?
Nah, I'll go for it.
So why should you read this?
Cause I said!
Okay, because seriously, my mommy totally thinks I'm funny and she would never lie to me.
Plus, you know, I'm kinda cool in that "quirky, crap, is something wrong with her?" kind of way.
Am I qualified to take on such a task? Yes.
I think a blogger should be completely knowledgeable about everything they put in their blog. You can rest assured that I know an incredible amount of information about absolutely nothing valid or important. Go on, ask me something important, I won't be able to answer! Ask me something completely stupid, I'm your man!
So who am I? What have done that qualifies me write a blog?

Well, my name is Nancy.

I was born in El Salvador.

I grew up in New Orleans and I will always call it home.

Slowly (very slowly), Kansas is home now too.

I am a daughter, a little sister and an awesome friend …unless you cross me, hurt my feelings, or belittle me.

I love my family.

I speak Spanish and English.

I respect my elders.

I can raise my left eyebrow.

I would do anything for the people I care about.

My favorite movie is The Princess Bride.

My world would not be the same without The Simpsons.

I cry during certain television commercials.

I have a quarter of a century under my belt.

I succeed at the things I set out to accomplish.

I truly enjoy throwing pots on a wheel.

I am a teacher.

My students piss me off and make me smile daily.

I am a comedian.

I am an accomplished woman.

I believe in a greater power.

I am a student.

I dig 80’s and 90’s music more than that new stuff.

I can type 70 words per minute.

I used to own a house.

I will not owe $30,000…eventually.

I still shut my eyes during The Exorcist and The Shining.

I love watching The Exorcist and The Shining.

I will age well.

I can build a web page.

I am a graduate of Texas Lutheran University.

I majored in Spanish and Psychology. No, I cannot psychoanalyze you.

I completed the Transition to Teaching program.

I am certified K-12 to teach your kid Spanish.

I have been to 9 countries and 33 U.S. states.

I love Skittles.

My nickname is Pants.
